Susan Johnsrud Named Development Director

The Lewis & Clark Fort Mandan Foundation is pleased to announce Susan Johnsrud as its new Foundation Development Director. 

Johnsrud brings extensive non-profit management, public relations, project management and fundraising experience to the role of foundation development director. She will be responsible for managing Foundation development and activities related to: fundraising, donor relations, community relations and other activities that enhance or expand streams of revenue and other resources for the Foundation.

Johnsrud is committed to the prosperity and preservation of her native North Dakota.

"I greatly appreciate and admire the dedication of the many North Dakotans I have been privileged to work with who give selflessly of themselves and/or their resources to sustain and pass on our unique way of life," Johnsrud said. "I look forward to being a part of the team at the Lewis & Clark Fort Mandan Foundation."

Prior to joining the Foundation, Johnsrud worked for Cognizant Technologies in Minot as a New Business Coordinator; the Devils Lake Chamber of Commerce as Executive Director for the Convention and Visitors Bureau; the Minot Area Development Corporation Director of Operations; and Assistant Director for the McKenzie County Tourism Bureau and Chamber of Commerce.

Among the many events and projects she has been involved with, Johnsrud served as community coordinator for the Lewis & Clark Corp of Discovery II, Discovering the Little Missouri 10-Day Community Event (held in conjunction with the 100 Year Anniversary of McKenzie County) and the dedication of the Long X Visitor Center in Watford City.
