Lewis & Clark Farmers Market now open Fridays at Interpretive Center

Posted on 6/24/2015

Washburn, N.D. - The Lewis & Clark Farmers Market is open for its second season in the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center's parking lot. The market is every Friday from 4-7 p.m. June-September and 3-6 p.m. in October.

Participating vendors will sell a variety of fresh produce, herbs, baked goods, jellies, and gift items.

The Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center will offer extended hours each Friday until 7 p.m. to encourage Farmers Market shoppers to visit the Center and the three gardens - Jefferson, Oscar H. Will & Co., and Plains Indian - in Harmony Park.

The market is hosted by the North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department and sponsored by Great River Energy and the Lewis & Clark Fort Mandan Foundation.

For more information, click here or call 462-8535. Both the Center and Fort Mandan are open every day from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
