The North Dakota Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center and Fort Mandan Interpretive Center
Location:
Intersection of US Highway 83 and ND Highway 200A on McLean County Highway 17, Washburn, North Dakota, 38 miles north of Bismarck.

2 miles west of the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center on McLean County Highway 17

Hours of Operation:
Fort Mandan and the North Dakota Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center are open all year. Memorial Day through Labor Day, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m; remainder of year 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.Sundays Noon to 5 p.m.

Admission to Fort Mandan and Interpretive Center:
Adults $7.50
Students (K-College) $5.00
Foundation members free.

School Tours:
To arrange a school field trip to the Interpretive Center and Fort Mandan, call (877) 462-8535. Student admission for prescheduled school tour groups is $3.00 per person.

Group Tours: To arrange a group tour to the Interpretive Center and Fort Mandan, call (877)462-8535. Group tour admission is $6.00 per person.

Room Rental Information
  Rental hours are regular business hours:
Winter 9:00 - 5:00 pm, Sundays Noon to 5 p.m.
Memorial Day - Labor Day 9:00 - 5:00 pm
Rental fee includes free access to the three exhibit areas, the Lewis &
Clark exhibit, the Bergquist Gallery featuring the Bodmer Collection,
and the Sheldon Gallery with the Fort Clark exhibits.
   
Conference Room
  measures 11' x 15'
  The conference room overlooks the Missouri River with access to a
private outdoor deck.
 
Education Room
  Whole Room - measures 33' x 42'
  Half Room - measures 33' x 21'
 
Room is furnished with 15 (8 foot square tables) and 175 chairs if needed. Equipped with DVD and VCR, two projector screens, recessed ceiling speakers on both sides of room, podium, wireless PA system, speaker telephone, counter space with storage and sink, and access to public deck area overlooking the Missouri River. Room can be divided in half with soundproof bi-fold doors.
